Bates Wells recognised in Chambers UK 2018

Bates Wells has been recognised for its expertise across a range of categories in the newly-released Chambers 2018 directory.

Since the publication of last year’s edition, Bates Wells has received two new team rankings – with our Electoral team making its debut in Band 2 of Parliamentary and Public Affairs: Electoral, and our Employment team returning to Band 3 of Employment: Senior Executive for the first time since 2014. All other Bates Wells teams received the ranking that they were awarded in last year’s directory.

With respect to individual rankings, this has been another positive year for the firm. The following new appearances occurred in this year’s directory:

Aside from these new rankings, Bates Wells’ Head of Public & Regulatory Melanie Carter was ranked in the top band for Admin and Public Law for the first time, while Abbie Rumbold (Charities & Social Enterprise) and Lawrie Simanowitz (Charities & Social Enterprise) both moved up a band in the Charity rankings.
