Civil Society: Amanda Ogilvie writes on INGO risk management

Amanda Ogilvie, Solicitor in BWB’s Charity & Social Enterprise Department, has written for Civil Society’s “Expert Insight” portal on how International NGOs (INGOs) can navigate the risk management landscape.

Produced following Civil Society’s NGO Insight conference (which was sponsored by BWB) on 28 November, Amanda’s article examines the growing importance of this area for charities looking to operate on an international basis.

In addition to setting out the specific issues that are of concern to charities, Amanda also sets out how establishing an effective risk management framework can help INGOs to “make informed decisions and to take informed risks”.
