Bates Wells Compliance wins at 2017 Compliance Register Platinum Awards

Bates Wells Compliance has been recognised at the 2017 Compliance Register Platinum Awards for its expertise in the Peer-to-Peer (P2P) and crowdfunding sectors.

At an awards ceremony which took place at The Royal Lancaster Hotel on 30 November, BWB Compliance was named winner of “Best Consultancy/law firm – P2P lending/Crowdfunding”. The team was also named runner-up for the “Most Effective Training Firm” award.

The award follows last year’s success at the same event, when BWB Compliance won “Most Promising Newcomer”.

Gillian Roche-Saunders, Partner and Head of BWB Compliance, said:

“This award is particularly meaningful to us, because it was voted on by the people we’re here to support – our clients.

“The assessment was based on the full breadth of our work over the last year, including training, authorisations, compliance health checks and ongoing support work.

“We’re delighted to receive this recognition as our team goes from strength to strength.”

The Compliance Register Platinum Awards, now in their 14th year, aim to highlight “exemplary service to compliance and regulation” across a total of 35 award categories and typically attract attendees from across Europe, North America and Asia.
