Bates Wells writes for Charity Finance on new Charity Commission reporting requirements

Bates Wells has written a by-lined article for Charity Finance on new reporting requirements for the annual returns process that were set out by the Charity Commission earlier this year.

In their article for the February edition of Charity Finance, Thea Longley, Partner, and Beatrice Leong, Paralegal, highlight the eight specific areas which will be affected by these changes, in the process underlining the far-reaching impact of the regulator’s new requirements on charities.

Alongside this explanation of the specific issues that organisations need to consider during the year ahead, both authors also emphasise that now is the time for “affected organisations to reflect on how they will gather the relevant information”.
