Bates Wells was shortlisted in the following categories:
- Real Estate – Best Contribution by a Firm with an English Head Office – Westway Trust project
- Rachel Mathieson, Associate, Employment – Junior Lawyers Division Pro Bono Award
- Employment – Best New Pro Bono Activity – Uber Employment Appeal
This year’s shortlist was confirmed following a rigorous judging process, during which the panel sought to highlight the standout examples of pro bono work across the legal sector.
In LawWorks’ words, they aim to “recognise and celebrate achievement in legal pro bono work undertaken by organisations and individuals, and the commitment of the legal sector in enabling access to justice and supporting individuals, communities and not-for-profit organisations.”
