The UK government has urged companies to establish “alternative mechanisms” to ensure data can flow into the UK should the country leave the EU without a withdrawal agreement.
Speaking to Vincent Manancourt, Victoria expressed that she feels it’s “highly unlikely that the EU will treat the UK any differently to other third countries in the event of a no-deal Brexit”. Victoria also mentioned that “data transfers will be “one issue amongst many that UK organisations and businesses will need to grapple with”.
