Chetal Patel, Partner in our Immigration Team, has written (£) for the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) on sponsorship requirements and compliance considerations that UK employers need to take into account.


Entitled “Compliance, Compliance, Compliance” Chetal’s article covers how, in light of the government’s “strict immigration-related regulatory requirements”, businesses need to “remain compliant with their record-keeping obligations, especially given the number of Home Office worksite inspections designed to crack down on illegal employment.

Chetal also sets outs three key tips which can help employers to stay on top of the Home Office’s current approach to the enforcement of sponsorship arrangements. These are as follows:
