Reflecting on this matter, Louise told Schools Week that leadership teams need to ensure they take steps to meet the employment law challenges that can emerge in the education sector. In this article Louise suggests that they establish effective human resources systems and processes in order to deal with matters such as staff grievances as efficiently as possible.
Louise points out that schools should also make every effort to foster effective dialogue with employees in order to minimise the risk that a costly tribunal process could take place, a process which could have an adverse impact on school budgets.
