Bates Wells acts on readmission to AIM of Minds + Machines (formerly Top Level Domain Holdings)

Transaction: Bates Wells has acted for Beaumont Cornish on the readmission of Minds + Machines (formerly Top Level Domain Holdings) to the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange plc. Mine + Machines is a £137m market cap company with offices in Dublin, London, Munich, and Santa Monica. Mines + Machines offers not only registrar services for new top-level domains including .london but also offers other related services from registry ownership and operations to consumer sales. It also has an interest in over two dozen uncontested gTLD applications.

Clients: Beaumont Cornish Limited is an independent corporate finance adviser, which advises domestic and international companies principally listed on AIM and the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange for whom BWB have acted for on a number of AIM IPOs.

Lawyers: Jonathan Morris, senior associate, led the team on the transaction.

Observations: We are pleased to have acted on the flotation of this mid-cap dynamic AIM company, which is the 11th AIM deal and fourth IPO that the BWB corporate team have closed in the last 18 months. This demonstrates the growing recognition of BWB’s credentials in this area as well as being symptomatic of an uptick in AIM activity, particularly in the technology sector, where we are seeing increased interest from institutional investors in small and mid-cap tech companies.
