Advising and acting in a dispute that led to proceedings in the High Court regarding a substantial dispute about an alleged Joint Venture Agreement

We advised on a dispute between parties for the development of a number of property interests in London.

The dispute included issues of potential insolvency of one of the parties to the Joint Venture Agreement and breach of contract, duty and fiduciary issues. The matter was eventually resolved by way of a settlement agreement after we made a successful interlocutory application requiring the payment of all proceeds of sale of properties alleged to be part of the joint venture agreement to be paid into a joint escrow account.  The terms of settlement involved payment of a significant sum to our client as well as the transfer of property and the provision of security to him.
