We have again brought together prominent and authoritative figures in the Higher Education world in order to discuss the challenges facing HEIs and the potential impact of the Higher Education White Paper. The differing experience of the different panel members will allow for a rich and practical discussion about what students should expect in the changing HEI environment and how this may impact upon student satisfaction and complaints. The session will end with a panel question and answer session with a full, participatory, discussion.
The members of the panel will be:
Felicity Mitchell, Deputy Independent Adjudicator and member of the Senior Management and Approval Teams with responsibility for legal claims against the Office of the Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education;
Liam Burns, President of the NUS; and
Selman Ansari, a leading education lawyer at Bates Wells & Braithwaite London LLP who specialises in regulatory and contractual matters affecting Higher Education.
Andy Westwood, Chief Executive Officer of GuildHE, who has a vast range of experience in the Higher Education Sector and who is part of a joint consultation paper called Higher Education Public Information Steering Group.
In order to maximise the opportunity to ask questions and participate in discussions, places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.Please find attached the programme for the seminar.
