Ducks in a row? Preparing for a UKBA compliance visit

Immigration compliance is no walk in the park and, with UK Border Agency under pressure to appear tough, employers are in the firing line with increasing numbers of announced and unannounced compliance visits being undertaken. In the last few months, the BWB Immigration Team has advised a whole range of employers including hedge funds, international charities, media outfits and legal service providers on how to prepare for a visit from a UK Border Agency Compliance Officer – the days of UK Border Agency only focusing compliance activity on takeaways, nail bars and car washes are over.
