Intensive and interactive, this highly recommended course is an engaging way to kick-start a new commitment to good governance, encourage board cohesion or revitalise a flagging board. Working in a small group, participants will be introduced to the fundamentals, learning through plain language and real-life examples how good governance works in practice. The format will leave time for discussion and networking and every participant will come away with an individual action pack based on the ideas he or she has generated during the day.
The course can be tailored for single boards or offered as an open course with a mixed group. Chief executives, senior managers and development officers, too, can strengthen their understanding and improve their performance. No previous governance experience or preparation is required.
