The implementation of the GDPR presents the biggest change to the legal landscape relating to personal data in recent memory, and a significant challenge to affected organisations. It makes particular demands of public bodies. As the clock ticks to the implementation of the GDPR in May 2018, Melanie Carter, Head of BWB’s Public & Regulatory team and joint Head of the Information Law Group, will discuss the implications of the GDPR for public bodies including the practical steps they will need to have taken to be compliant and the practical changes they will need to adapt to.
