Event Summary

Following on from our booked out event in June, we are running this employment focussed session, aimed particularly at employers and HR professionals.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force in May 2018 and will be directly applicable in the UK and all EU Member States without the need for national legislation. Notwithstanding the UK’s vote to leave the EU, the GDPR will still be relevant in the UK and employers need to be prepared to comply.

The GDPR will expand the scope of data protection laws, increase the penalties for transgressions, and change the processing, recording and other compliance obligations of employers.

This seminar will provide an overview of the key changes as well practical tips for employers regarding the processing of your employee data to ensure you are ready for implementation.

This seminar will cover:

  • An overview of the key changes being brought in by the GDPR.
  • Practical tips for employers.
  • Workshop, discussion and Q&A.

Who should attend?

  • HR and compliance managers
  • CFOs and CEOs
  • Data protection officers
