Event Summary

The GDPR has ushered in a host of new acronyms including PbD, DPIAs, LIAs and DPOs. Our seminar on 2nd April will examine when organisations are required to carry out a Legitimate Interest Assessment (LIA) or a Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) and what is required when carrying them out.

We will review guidance from the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and European Data Protection Board and consider practically how to comply with what the GDPR requires. Our seminar will include opportunities to work through a LIA and DPIA and to consider when consultation with the ICO may be required.

Who should attend?

This event is focused at senior members of staff who have responsibility for and experience of data protection compliance within their organisation, including Data Protection Officers and managers and senior HR advisors.

The next GDPR event will be on "Contracts under the GDPR – How do we negotiate our contracts with processors and controllers?". To see further event details and book your place, please click here
