Great conversations and exchanges lead to impactful influencing, better outcomes, increased productivity and sustainable results. How can you help groups become more effective? How can you help participants to have conversations that matter?

Facilitative skills are increasingly becoming a core competency for leaders, managers, consultants, coaches, trainers and others who work with groups. It is not just for facilitators anymore. Basic facilitation will put the spotlight on essential facilitation techniques. 

Advanced Facilitation will build on essential facilitation techniques gained by attending other courses and from experiences requiring facilitation techniques. Advanced Facilitation will assume knowledge and experience. Participants would have facilitated groups and be looking to hone their skills further.

  • Productive meetings - a specific way of including and engaging members of the group
  • Developing your facilitation toolkit – Tools you can use to your advantage

Approach: the session will be a mix of presentations, practical exercises and working in groups. Participants will have the opportunity to put their learning into action through participation in meeting scenarios, peer-to-peer sharing and action learning.

Groups are deliberately kept small to encourage interaction, sharing and learning. Each session will draw on a strong evidence base while kept very practical.
