Bates Wells today announces that it has promoted four of its Senior Associates to the firm’s partnership.
Four of our people have been made up as Partners, a move that brings Bates Wells’ partner headcount to 41 and ensures that our partnership is now 41% female.
As of 1 April the following will join our partnership:
- Louise Harman, Partner (Charity & Social Enterprise)
- Mathew Healey, Partner (Charity & Social Enterprise / Trade Marks)
- Victoria Hordern, Partner (Data Privacy)
- Victoria Schneider, Partner (Charity & Social Enterprise)
This announcement follows the release of our 2018 gender pay report, which sets out what we’re doing to close the firm’s pay gap and improve the level of diversity at Bates Wells.
These promotions demonstrate the growth in headcount we’ve experienced over the past year following as they do the arrival of Pennington Manches’ Professional Regulation team in January. This news also underlines how we strive to live up to our Purpose and Values, and how the principles of diversity and inclusion play a central role in the life of the firm.
