I’m a solicitor in the Public & Regulatory team. I advise a range of clients including public bodies, regulators and charities on their legal and regulatory obligations.

I work on both advisory and contentious matters including disciplinary issues, complaints procedures, board and membership disputes, safeguarding, judicial review and compliance with equality duties.

Having been a paralegal and a trainee solicitor at Bates Wells, I have worked in several of the firm’s departments and also have experience advising on constitutional and commercial matters.

  • I advised a membership organisation on its powers to investigate members in relation to a safeguarding issue
  • I advised a charity on strategy and risk mitigation in relation to a collaboration with a government agency
  • I acted for a charity in relation to a judicial review of a decision of the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs
  • I advised on the implications of the Equality Act 2010 for housing providers
