Executive Assistant to BWB Advisory and BWB Impact

Helen supports Jim Clifford as Executive Assistant in the BWB Impact and Advisory team, and hers is often the first voice you will hear when contacting the team. As well as managing and maintaining Jim’s busy schedule and the smooth running of the team, she is the key point of liaison between other teams and central service functions within BWB.

An integral cog who has been with the Advisory and Impact team since its inception, Helen’s philosophy centres around what role she can play in helping others find solutions by using her excellent organisational and time management skills.

Helen brings with her over twenty five years experience at senior PA level. After working in reinsurance for many years, dividing her time between the firm’s London and Philadelphia offices, she moved to work in the charity sector as PA to CEO/company secretary of a community development charity, where she played a significant part in assisting the board to become a strong and effective governing body. She initially met Jim when he acted as the charity’s financial advisor, and joined his new team when he moved to BWB in 2014.

Helen has an in-depth understanding of, and a keen interest in, autistic spectrum disorders and special educational needs which she is able to frequently draw on in her working life, contributing towards the team’s social projects.

In her spare time Helen particularly enjoys spending time with family. In addition to this, she enjoys drawing and is an enthusiastic cook - the team regularly benefit from Helen’s fantastic baking skills.
