I am a solicitor in the Charity and Social Enterprise department where I advise charities and not for profit organisations.

I completed my training contract at Linklaters and qualified in their Banking department, before moving to Bates Wells in March 2019. During my time at Linklaters, I advised on a variety of cross-border financial and regulatory transactions. I also spent 6 months at Plan International’s headquarters advising the charity on a range of commercial and legal issues.

With a background in amateur sports, I have a particular interest in the sports and charities industries.

  • I advise on grant agreements, funding arrangements and corporate partnerships with charities
  • I have advised on issues of primary registration for an NGO
  • I advised on the impact of a ‘no-deal’ Brexit for charities
  • I advise on issues of safeguarding for charities
