I am an Analyst in the Advisory and Impact team at Bates Wells, where I work on projects across the team’s four practice areas. Currently, I am also undertaking the Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) Qualification.

Prior to Bates Wells I worked at a management consultancy firm, where I helped ready a structured finance department for acquisition, at a Tier 1 Investment Bank. The acquiring firm then took me on in order to assist the management team in the first stages of set up.

I have a keen interest within both the Health and Energy industries, and I am especially interested in the challenges and outcome of impact measurement and the effect this may have on capital raising and future sustainability.

  • Supported a fundraising project

I assisted through a bond issuance and capital raising for a large organisation with hopes to deepen their social impact and growth. Researching potential investors and working on some marketing and proposal documents.

  • I worked on the implementation of an impact model for a Housing Association, in order for them to value the social impact they create.
  • I undertook the writing of an investment proposal on a capital raising project for a new ‘not-for profit’ institute providing in-depth psychological treatments, psychoanalytic training and research.
  • I created a Statement of Affairs for the Board of Trustees of a charity, in order to assist in their decision-making and overall Governance.
  • I provided research support on an impact project for a humanitarian education provider.
