Supporting European sustainable businesses – Bates Wells partners with Department for International Trade

Bates Wells has partnered with the Department for International Trade’s (DIT) Sustainable Fast Track UK initiative, to help sustainable European businesses to set up in the UK.

As champions of the impact economy, we’re constantly looking at new ways that we can help businesses contribute to the UN’s sustainable development goals (SDGs). That’s why we are proud to partner with the DIT on this initiative to help European businesses to set up and scale their operations in the UK.

The winners of the 6 categories (infrastructure, financial services, energy, agriculture, healthcare and circular economy) will each be able to claim up to 5 hours of free legal advice from Bates Wells on a range of legal issues including company law, contracts, investment and finance advice, employment and immigration, brand management, data privacy and property law.

We will also be offering all of the finalists the opportunity of a free one hour meeting to scope out their legal requirements and the next steps and advice they will need to take.

The grand finale of the Sustainable Fast Track programme will take place at Mansion House on the 21 January 2020. As well as revealing the winners of each category, the event will help to match the sustainable businesses with green and impact investors who are keen to help these businesses to scale and thrive.
