The UK’s first B Corp law firm

B Corps are profit-making businesses that want to be a force for good in the world. Like Ben & Jerry’s, Patagonia and Innocent.

Not just any business can call itself a B Corp. To be certified by B Lab, you have to meet their rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. And to keep it, you have to be re-assessed every three years.

Among other things, you have to prove that you consider what impact your business decisions will have on your workers, customers, suppliers, community and the environment – not just your shareholders.

Our final score was based on the thousands of charities and social enterprises we work with, the high proportion of pro bono work our solicitors do, our status as a Living Wage employer, our ISO 14001 certification and our good employment practices.

We’re incredibly proud to be one of a growing community of B Corps in the world, and the first law firm in the UK to achieve certification.

What does that mean for you?

It means you can be sure you are working with a firm that genuinely cares about people, society and the environment.

And if you’re interested in your organisation becoming a B Corp, we can guide you through the whole process. As well having first-hand experience to draw on, we also helped to create the UK legal test for certification.
