Our client was a high profile social entrepreneur who we have been advising since his first arrival in the UK, all the way to his British citizenship. As a result of his entrepreneurship, he has even been honoured in the Queen’s birthday honours.

What happened?

We then successfully advised his wife on her way to ILR and naturalisation, despite her joining her husband in the UK whilst he was on his Tier 1 (General) visa and being required to extend after he had obtained British citizenship in order to reach the time needed to qualify for ILR. We were able to make the time up by preparing both her ILR and Citizenship applications so that the latter was submitted within a few days of the ILR application being approved (and whilst the client was in the country).
