I have over 34 years’ experience of real estate and real estate finance work and for the last 8 years have been advising sporting bodies on the provision of grants and loans for grass roots sport working extensively with the Football Foundation, the Rugby Football Union and the Lawn Tennis Association.
I also act for a number of charitable bodies who provide grant and loan funding; in particular for the renovation of historic buildings.
I advise corporate occupiers from all sectors of the market place but particularly the retail and office markets. I act for both landlords and tenants on all aspects of their real estate portfolios but latterly have specialised in acting for tenants on significant bespoke letting arrangements. This involves negotiating building agreements requiring works to by both parties together with the leases and other documents needed when the works complete.
I advise a large charitable Trust Corporation on all aspects of their property portfolio including sales, purchases and lettings.
- I advised the Football Foundation in respect of their Parklife Projects aimed at developing football hubs in the more deprived areas of the country;
- I advised URBN UK on the acquisition and management of a variety of their sites in England and Wales
- I advised the Football Foundation, the Rugby Football Union and the Lawn Tennis Association on their individual grant/loan transactions including drafting and negotiating the funding agreements, advising on the assets being offered as security and negotiating the form of security documentation required.
- I advised the Trust Corporation on a number of complex sale and leasehold transactions
