One of the major challenges for any piece of strategic litigation is funding the claim and managing the risk of an adverse costs award.

Following the recent report by the Civil Justice Council on the future of litigation funding, join us on 11 September as we discuss strategies for funding claims and managing risk.

We’ll be joined by speakers from Law for Change and Bench Walk Advisors, who will provide a unique insight into what funders look for in a case, top tips on how to pitch a proposed claim, and how to seek funding for pre-action and scoping work.

We’ll also discuss the technical aspects of crowdfunding with the Head of CrowdJustice, as well as governance and reputational considerations for charities and NGOs.

And our lawyers will go through the cost capping order regimes, considering how to convince the Court that your claim meets the public interest test.

We’ll include time at the end for your questions, so please do submit questions in advance during registration.
