The City of London Corporation’s charitable funder, City Bridge Trust* has received a £7 million grant from The National Lottery Community Fund for its London Community Response Fund, which Bates Wells helped to set up in March.
This additional tranche of funding, which we were delighted to advise City Bridge Trust on, takes the London Community Response Fund’s total funds to over £25 million. These funds will provide essential support for charities and other organisations responding to the needs of communities in Greater London affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
*City Bridge Trust is the funding arm of Bridge House Estates (registered charity number 1035628), of which City of London Corporation is sole corporate trustee.
