Following the General Election, charities and other campaigners will be keen to make an impact on new Ministers, special advisors, and newly invigorated departments.

In this session, Simon Steeden and Suhan Rajkumar will talk through the legal framework around charities and campaigners lobbying and advocating, together with practical tips for how to make an impact on policy areas. With a new Government eager to make its mark in the first 100 days – and hundreds of new Parliamentarians to garner support for your cause from – the next few weeks and months will be just as important as the lead-up to the election, if not more so.

We’ll have some time for questions, but please do let us know in advance if there’s anything you’d like us to explore (share your questions or topic suggestions beforehand via the registration form).

Who should attend?

This session will be helpful to charities and campaigners looking to drive their agendas forward and make the most of the new opportunities to build connections under the new Government.
