I am a second-year trainee solicitor at Bates Wells. have experience assisting with a range of non-contentious and contentious issues in immigration, employment, charity and social enterprise and real estate.
Prior to starting my training contract, I worked as a Paralegal in the Immigration Department and Corporate and Commercial Department.
- I assist with urgent sponsor licence applications and transfer of migrants under TUPE arrangements
- I have experience in preparing Tier 2 and Tier 5 applications
- I’ve assisted with complex advice on illegal working, sponsor licence compliance and civil penalties
- I assist with providing strategic immigration advice to a religious organisation
- I conduct in-depth legal research
- I have experience in drafting letters of advice
- I receive and deal with potential new client calls
