I am a solicitor in the Charity and Social Enterprise team. I previously worked as a paralegal and trained with Bates Wells, including a secondment in-house as a contracts manager for a national research organisation. I advise clients on a wide range of matters including setting up charities and non-profits, governance and regulatory issues, mergers and reorganisations, and commercial contracts. I have a particular interest in the arts and cultural sectors.

- I’ve advised a number of organisations on how to set up and register as a charity.
- I advised an overseas non-profit organisation on setting up operations in the UK, including consideration of relevant data privacy and intellectual property issues relating to their work.
- I advised the trustees of a national charity on how to deal with multiple serious incidents regarding a dispute with a connected entity.
- I advised on a merger between two large charities working in social care and early intervention for children.
- I advised on a large-scale production agreement in relation to an awards ceremony for environmental projects, involving a number of entities.
