I advise employers and employees on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters. I always seek to deliver creative, effective and practical advice that meets the specific needs and concerns of each client. My experience includes:
- Negotiating and drafting a wide range of employment-related documentation, such as employment contracts, settlement agreements and employment-related policies;
- Advising on end-of-employment claims (such as unfair and wrongful dismissal), as well as discrimination and harassment claims; and
- Supporting clients with other employment-related issues, including running redundancy and collective consultation processes, strategic industrial relations advice and managing TUPE-related risks.
Prior to joining Bates Wells, I trained at Freshfields LLP and practiced there as an Employment solicitor. I then worked as the Judicial Assistant to Lord Burrows JSC at the UK Supreme Court, before joining Bates Wells in 2025.
