As a Senior Associate in the Real Estate team, I advise a wide range of organisations – from major investors and charities to entrepreneurs and developers – on how they buy, sell, fund, lease and develop commercial property.
My practice spans investment (buying and selling); landlord and tenant matters; secured lending and development work.
- Advised a major European banking group on the re-gear of their occupational interest at their London office – an important development of their overall London property strategy.
- Advised a national charity client on the sale of its building for redevelopment purposes, conditional on planning permission. The building was coming to the end of its life expectancy and was no longer suitable for the services which the charity wanted to run to support the local community.
- Advised a Royal Charter body on the purchase of its new headquarters, which involved providing advice on obtaining vacant possession from the tenants already in situ.
- Advised a housing association on the refinance of part of its property portfolio to unlock additional capital to support its ongoing offering.
- Advised one of our social banking clients on a £30m term loan to a housing association with over 3,000 homes. The Bank took security over 255 units as security for its loan.
