Our client had an established tech start-up with a global reach, and needed advice in making an extension application to his Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) leave.
What happened?
We were able to establish at the first meeting that with the time he had spent in the UK as a student, he would be eligible for ILR on the basis of his 10-year residence in the UK 4 months after his initial period of Tier 1(Entrepreneur) leave had expired and although an extension would be required, ILR could be obtained shortly afterwards. Shortly after that application had been approved, we were able to use much of the evidence gathered as evidence of the client’s long residence in the UK and he was granted ILR within 4 months of the first Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) leave expiring (2 years earlier than he would have been eligible under Tier 1 (Entrepreneur)).
