Experience

I am an Associate in the Charity and Social Enterprise department at Bates Wells. I advise charities and not for profit organisations on a range of charity law issues. I have a particular focus on fundraising, governance, and equitable funding.

I returned to Bates Wells in 2026 after four years working in-house, first at Macmillan Cancer Support and then at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Foundation. I hope to bring this hands-on experience into my work at Bates Wells, recognising the real-life challenges that many of our clients are working through.

I am particularly passionate about mental health charities, and charities tackling structural challenges in our society. I was a trustee of a mental health charity for several years. I work part time at Bates Wells, and outside of this work, I am training as a psychotherapist.
