I am a Senior Associate in the Corporate and Commercial team and I advise on a wide range of commercial contracts across sectors: IT, technology, consumer goods and services, financial services, industry associations, local government pension pools and non-profits. In addition to this, I have supported clients with shareholder and limited partnership arrangements, advice related to investment documents (either discretionary management or private markets). I also support clients with advice related to applicable legislative and regulatory updates.

- Advised industry associations on partnership/collaboration arrangements, tech focused pilot projects and enhancing internal governance policies specific to their needs.
- Supporting global manufacturers in the consumer goods and luxury products industries by setting up their distribution networks (agents and selective distributors) which included advising on applicable legislation such as the UK Commercial Agents Regulations.
- Advised clients in the cultural and creative sectors on membership terms and advice regarding membership arrangements; for example, advising on the Consumer Rights Act and the upcoming Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act.
- Advised service providers on their client terms and conditions, building tailored templates and negotiation tools, and reviewing their websites for compliance with UK legal requirements.
- Advised purposeful organisations such as B Corps, charities, unions and Royal Charter bodies on a variety of commercial arrangements such as grant agreements, publishing agreements, IT/SaaS contracts, licensing agreements, and outsourcing agreements.
- Holistic support and advice for overseas companies looking to set up in the UK from advice on UK incorporation, website requirements, preparing UK compliant customer terms, advising on trade marks/licensing requirements, setting up intra-group arrangements, and advice regarding international transfers of personal data and UK data protection legislation.
- Advised on discrete data protection matters including reviewing data sharing agreements and policies, advice related to data breaches and responding to DSARs and preparing data retention policies.
- Advised firms on the implications of their activities to comply with the financial promotion rules, regulated activities and advising on or setting up appointed representative arrangements.
- Advising organisations on their investment management agreements and advisory agreements with third party investment managers.
- Advised local government pension schemes and pension pools across their private market investments (debt, infrastructure, and sustainable focused investments) which included running their side letter negotiations for their bespoke requests related to FOIA, confidentiality and reporting requirements.
