Experience

I’m a partner in the Corporate team, where I specialise in M&A and private equity.

I work across a number of sectors, including cross-border, technology (particularly medical technology), professional services, impact investing and corporate real estate.

A large part of my practice involves advising founders and owner-managers through all aspects of their business life-cycle from fundraising, investment rounds and structuring to M&A and exits. I also routinely advise buyers, including UK and foreign listed companies, private equity funds and leading international foundations, on share acquisitions of or investments into UK companies.

I therefore have extensive experience of key negotiation issues in acting for both sellers and buyers on M&A transactions, particularly those involving cross-border elements. I’ve worked extensively in corporate structuring, joint ventures, partnerships and general corporate advisory, including in implementing the corporate aspects of wealth planning structures.

I am also the Co-Lead of our Development Finance practice as I have a keen interest in working with ESG-focused and purpose-driven clients. I regularly advise impact investment funds, development finance institutions, foundations, UK and foreign government-backed funds and private equity funds on equity investments and disposals, particularly focussed in the Global South.
