I am a solicitor in the Charity and Social Enterprise department at Bates Wells. I advise charities and not-for-profits on a range of legal issues including structuring, establishment, incorporation, governance and general charity and commercial law matters.
- I advise on the structuring and registration of new charities and social enterprises including CIOs and CICs
- I advise on a wide range of contractual agreements including contracts for services, grant agreements and framework agreements
- I advise on constitutional and operational matters including complex changes to constitutional documents
- I advise on a range of transactions including charity incorporations, financings, mergers, disposals and spin-outs including advising on the sale of an economics consultancy and climate analytics platform to McKinsey & Company
