I began my career as a finance lawyer at a magic circle law firm, advising multinational companies and large financial institutions on a range of debt financing transactions across asset classes and geographies (including Europe, US, Asia, and Africa). In 2022, I was seconded to Plan International’s global legal team where I advised on risk and governance issues and a range of commercial contracts. I joined Bates Wells in 2024 with a view to applying my skills and experience in supporting investors, charities and purposeful businesses seeking to have a positive impact.
- I have advised on cross-border syndicated lending transactions.
- I have advised borrowers and lenders on sustainability-linked financings.
- I advised a not-for-profit organisation created under The Dormant Assets Scheme on a social impact financing to boost financial inclusion by increasing the availability of fair and accessible financial products and services.
