Bates Wells has a long history of supporting environmental causes and organisations. We deepened this in 2019 when we formally recognised the Climate Emergency and Biodiversity Crisis. In doing so, we made several commitments to address our impact on the environment, including one to report on our progress.

We have adapted our office, driven forward our commitment to prioritising climate in our business strategy, continued to use the law as a force for good, introduced new environmentally-friendly people policies and worked in partnership with key organisations to amplify our impact.
