I am a partner in the Corporate team, where I specialise in M&A transactions. I work across a wide range of sectors including professional services, technology and corporate real estate. My clients include owner managed businesses, family offices, investors and professional services firms.
As well as advising on M&A transactions, I regularly advise on equity investment, joint ventures, partnership law, corporate reorganisations and employee incentives. I have particular expertise in advising barristers chambers on a range of constitutional issues.
- Advised the shareholders of Playter (Imployapp Limited) on their sale to Shawbrook Bank Limited. Playter is a fintech lending proposition that provides established UK SMEs with credit lines and short term cashflow loans.
- Advised the partners of law firm FBC Manby Bowdler on their sale to the Adeptio Law Group.
- Advising Coterie Holdings UK Limited, a leading fine wine group, in connection with the acquisition of Hallgarten & Novum wines, a leading specialist wine importer and supplier to the hospitality and premium off-trade retail sectors.
- Advised a family office vehicle which invests in ESG-focused companies on the acquisition of a specialist training firm.
- Working with an investment adviser/manager to establish its investment structures and advising on a number of its investments in innovative start up companies developing solutions to material circularity.
- Advised the management team of an IT managed service provider on the sale of their business to a US buyer.
- Advising a boutique hotel operator in connection with the acquisition finance for their hotel purchases.
- Advising on the sale of an Isle of Man SPV which owned the freehold of a substantial office building in central London.
