The long-awaited Charities Act 2022 passed into law on Thursday 24 February 2022 and will be implemented gradually between Autumn 2022 and Autumn 2023. The changes introduced by the Act are primarily aimed at making life easier for charities by reducing regulation through conferring new powers and removing technical obstacles.
