Sustainability in Real Estate
It can be hard to know where to start when thinking about how to implement sustainable practice throughout your portfolio. We take pride in breaking this challenge down into manageable steps, so our clients can quickly begin to achieve their sustainability goals in a practical way. We adopt this approach when educating our clients throughout the building and development of sustainable projects, including on wellbeing in real estate.
When working in the built environment we are always thinking about how to future proof, making sure projects are meeting at the intersection of social and environmental impact. We work with organisations to create viable, community-focused uses for land in need of regeneration; give advice and training on the MEES Regulations and Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and on installing renewable energy; and we work with Community Land Trusts who are looking at developing affordable and sustainable housing, that benefits local communities and the local resources and areas.
Our work is increasingly nature focused. We are building our Land Recovery expertise relating to the government scheme focussed on large-scale environmental projects in England, aiming to restore and enhance natural habitats and ecosystems.
We are also able to offer advice on green leases, green loans and sustainable financing options, to make sure that any property-based financial decisions are considering the wider impact and are supporting environmentally friendly, sustainable initiatives.
Whatever your role is in real estate, we can advise on the full property life cycle and help you to influence sustainability through your building strategy.
